【国際規格「ISO 9001」の認証をアメリカの認証機関で取得しました】
法科学鑑定研究所は、品質マネジメントシステムの国際規格である「ISO 9001」の認証をアメリカの認証機関で取得しました。
法科学鑑定研究所の遺伝子検査部門および科学鑑定部門は、アジアでも高い実績を誇り、日本発の革新的な科学技術をグローバルレベルで開発することを目的としています。
これらの部門は、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、日本国内をカバーする世界三大認証機関の一つであるアメリカの「ANAB」よりISO9001認証を取得いたしました。この認証取得により、アジアの一部地域の認証機関ではなく当社のサービスが国際的な基準を満たし、高い信頼性と品質を保証していることが証明されました。
ANABのISO9001を取得したことで、遺伝子検査や科学鑑定に関連する分析・評価に関して、国際標準での品質マネジメントが実施されることにより、より質の高いサービスを提供することが期待されます。
現在、遺伝子検査部門および科学鑑定部門の研究開発はグローバル化が進んでおり、法科学鑑定研究所では以前より、遺伝子検査・科学鑑定および関連業務に関して国際レベルでの品質を確保すべく取り組みを進めていました。今回のISO9001認証取得により、さらに国際標準に準じた品質マネジメントシステムを整備することができました。
ISO9001での品質マネジメントシステムは、取得後も継続的に実施することで品質の維持・向上を図ります。遺伝子検査・科学鑑定に関わる各部門が連携することで、国際的にも高い品質と認められるサービス提供体制が構築されることが期待されます。今後はこの取り組みの範囲を広げ、法科学鑑定研究所全体の品質向上に努めてまいります。

Forensic Science Laboratory has obtained certification for the international standard for quality management systems “ISO 9001” from a certification body in the United States.
The Forensic Science Laboratory’s genetic testing and scientific testing departments have a strong track record in Asia, and aim to develop innovative Japanese science and technology on a global level.
These departments have obtained ISO 9001 certification from ANAB, one of the world’s three major certification bodies, which covers the United States, Europe and Japan. This certification proves that our services meet international standards and guarantee high reliability and quality, rather than being certified by a certification body in a particular part of Asia.
By obtaining ISO9001 certification from ANAB, we expect to be able to provide even higher quality services by implementing quality management in accordance with international standards for analysis and evaluation related to genetic testing and scientific identification.
Currently, research and development in the fields of genetic testing and scientific identification is becoming increasingly globalized, and the Forensic Science Laboratory has been working to ensure the quality of its genetic testing, scientific identification and related services at an international level for some time. With the acquisition of ISO 9001 certification, we have been able to further develop our quality management system in line with international standards.
We will continue to implement the quality management system under ISO 9001 in order to maintain and improve quality. By working together, the departments involved in genetic testing and forensic science will be able to provide a service that is recognized as having high quality on an international level. In the future, we will expand the scope of these efforts and work to improve the quality of the entire Institute of Forensic Science.
In this way, the Forensic Science Laboratory’s Genetic Testing and Scientific Testing departments are making continuous efforts to provide high-quality services that comply with international standards.
